The Institute of Caribbean Studies, of the Univ. of Puerto Rico-Río Piedras, is pleased to announce the conference entitled "Membranas de acero, hormigón y viento: la arquitectura y el 'paisaje' caribeño en tiempos de 'guerras frías'" by Dr. Jorge Lizardi Pollock, professor of the School of Architecture, UPR-RP. Arq. Javier Isado, Dean of Students, School of Architecture, UPR-RP, will serve as commentator.
The activity will be held on Thursday, September 4th, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. in REB Rm 238, Faculty of the Social Sciences. This is the third of CONFERENCIAS CARIBEÑAS 3 programme, organized by the Institute of Caribbean Studies to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
