NeoAmericanist Online Journal for the Study of America is pleased to announce an open call for papers to its first themed issue. The journal would like to invite any students at any level of study including post-doctoral researchers writing or working on the theme of "Death, Commemoration, and Memorialization in America" to submit their papers to the journal by Oct. 21st, 2008. NeoAmericanist is a peer-reviewed and blinded publication that has published bi-annually since 2005. In addition to soliciting works on the above theme, the journal welcomes general submissions in any field to submit any works related to the study of the U.S. The journal also publishes original reviews and has an active reviews office with academic titles available for qualified reviewers. NeoAmericanist’s goal as a journal is to push the boundaries of scholarship and theory and blur the lines between academic disciplines and popular culture. For more information about the publication or to submit a work for peer-review please visit our site.
