Shays’ Rebellion & The Making of Nation Symposium and Website Launch
Springfield Technical Community College is proud to announce the launch of a new humanities website on Shays’ Rebellion website. To celebrate, we are organizing two days of related events that will coincide with Constitution Day.
The events will take place Friday, September 12 and Saturday, September 13 on the campus of Springfield Technical Community College in Springfield Massachusetts.
Among the events schedule are an exhibit of art work by artist Bryant White, who was commissioned for the website images; a gallery talk, and a half-day symposium with Robert Gross from the University of Connecticut, Leonard Richards from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Kevin Sweeney from Amherst College, and Barbara Mathews from the Pocumtuck Vallery Memorial Association.
