November 2009 Southern Historical Association Meeting, Louisville, Kentucky. I am interested in proposing a paper on the immigration crusde in the Reconstruction South and am looking for other panelists for a new panel or to fit into a panel being proposed. Any such panel on Reconstruction, the New South, ethnicity, or political economy, would be a good fit. The deadline for submission is September 1, so a quick response is probably necessary.
