2009 Southwest/Texas Popular Culture/American Culture Association
30th Annual Conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico
February 24-28, 2009
The 2009 SW/TX PCA/ACA Conference will be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the Hyatt Regency downtown. Join us this year, as a returning or first-time participant, as we celebrate our 30th birthday with our theme, Reeling in the Years: 30 Years of Film, TV, and Popular Culture. Papers are particularly sought on aspects of film, TV, and popular culture of the last 30 years with an emphasis on the popular culture of 1979. Further details regarding the conference (listing of all areas, hotel, registration, tours, etc.) can be found at http://www.swtexaspca.org.
Proposals are now being accepted for the brand new Anime & Manga Area. If you would like to chair or present a panel please let me know ASAP. Abstracts should be 150-200 words.
