CALL FOR PAPERS: AAANZ 2008 CONFERENCE

AAANZ: Alpha Alpha Alpha November Zulu
The 2008 Art Association of Australia and New Zealand conference aims to encourage papers from a broad disciplinary base and as part of this to recall the earlier involvement of the design professions in the Association and Journal of Art. This is particularly timely in the 30th year of the journal’s publication, when the conference is hosted by QCA, a studio based institution teaching across art, design, photography, film and animation, and in light of the increasing attention paid to the role of design in critical and theoretical debates surrounding art.
The 2008 conference invites abstracts that respond to the Session descriptions found at the website listed.
Please e-mail abstracts (250 words) as an attached Word document along with a brief bio (1-3 lines) to individual session convenors and cc to Rosemary Hawker at: r.hawker@griffith.edu.au
Please give the email subject as "AAANZ Abstract–SURNAME"
