NINE seeks manuscripts that promote the study of all historical aspects of baseball and center on the cultural implications of the game wherever in the world baseball is played. The journal reflects an eclectic approach and does not foster a particular ideological bias.
Electronic submissions or inquiries can be emailed to tstrecker@bsu.edu. Manuscripts should be prepared according to the Chicago Manual of Style, 15th edition, and should contain endnotes rather than footnotes. Simultaneous submissions are not accepted.
Articles appearing in NINE are indexed in Academic Search Premier, America: History & Life, Current Abstracts, SocINDEX, SPORTDiscus, and TOC Premier. The journal is available online through Project MUSE.
