"Web 2" and "social tagging": Those are concepts which until now have mostly been neglected as far as their scientific potential is concerned. Nevertheless, it seems rather promising to experiment not only on conveying arthistorical basics but also on optimizing arthistorical databases.
In cooperation with computer science and art history the LMU Munich has designed an application which aims at the mentioned targets.
We would like to recommend the use of artigo and to widely promote it to other people interested as the chances of success rise proportionally to the number of users.
The project is now available not only in the German version but also in English and French.
