Contributors are being sought to submit essays offering “insider” perspectives on American Indian media and experience. Selected essays will enhance chapters for a book project that will add breadth to the scholarly and contemporary work about the intersection of American Indian cultures and the American Mass Media. Of special interest are writings that explore the roles of new media, film , public relations, advertising, and investigative/community journalism in Indian media and mass communication. Illustrations related to the Native-American/American Indian media and related cultural topics may also be included in this volume. Contributions must be sent by August 1, 2008. Selected contributors will be notified by August 15, 2008.
