Special consideration will be given to proposals from advanced doctoral students. Funding will be available to cover partial conference expenses.

In conjunction with the conference the History Department at the University of Maine will be offering a graduate-level course on loyalism. Students will need to be on campus June 3-7, 2009 and participate in additional on-line discussions and projects. We anticipate offering four fellowships to out-of-state graduate students to allow them to enroll at in-state tuition rates.
