Mediascape, UCLA's Journal of Cinema and Media Studies, is excited to announce our new Call for Papers. In light of the upcoming election for the next President of the United States, the theme for the Fall 2008 issue will be politics and the political in film, television, and digital media. The deadline for submissions for the next issue is the 1st of September 2008. We would also like to announce the publication of our Spring 2008 issue and our site redesign.
