Call For Papers - Science and Politics
The graduate journal Critical Sense: A Journal of Political and Cultural Theory, published by graduate students at the University of California, Berkeley is currently accepting submissions for its Fall 2008 issue on Science and Politics. We invite submissions from all walks of the humanities and the social sciences to address this theme in articles alive to the political, cultural, aesthetic, historical, and theoretical implications of the questions they engage and to confront, where possible, perspectives generated outside their own fields. We purposively leave our issue topics broad to encourage varied perspectives and innovative analysis.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: AUGUST 1, 2008
Email submissions (as Word or RTF attachments) to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Articles should represent high-quality, rigorous scholarship and should not exceed 30 double-spaced pages (1-inch margins, 12-point type). Book reviews should not exceed 10 double-spaced pages (1-inch margins, 12-point type). All submissions should be prepared according to the guidelines specified in the Chicago Manual of Style, using numbered endnotes. For all submissions, please include your name, institutional affiliation, and contact information. In addition, please include a short (250-word) abstract of the article.
