General editors sought for encyclopedias on American cultural history
ABC-CLIO, an educational and reference publisher based in Santa Barbara, California (www.abc-clio.com), is currently looking for general editors for the following titles:
Entertainment in America: An Encyclopedia of Fun and Leisure
A four volume, illustrated reference book examining the history of entertainment, leisure, and recreation in American history--everything from movies to amusement parks to travel and tourism.
Movies in America
A three volume, illustrated encyclopedia examining the history of film--documentary, independent, and feature-- and its place in and impact on American history.
General editors duties include developing a table of contents, soliciting contributing writers, and editing for content (basic fact-checking and content editing is handled by the publisher).
