Experience island archaeology in the ruggedly beautiful West of Ireland. 1-Week, 2-Week, 4-Week & 6-Week courses offered from June to September 2008. Academic credit available through the National University of Ireland at Galway. Participate in the excavation and documentation of a variety of sites, including megalithic tombs, maritime archaeological sites and the ruins of a deserted village - and enjoy personalized tours of Achill Island and premier archaeological sites in Mayo, Sligo, Roscommon and Galway.
