The editor of Social Issues in America: An Encyclopedia is looking for authors for essays on the following subjects:

Consumer Product Safety
Veterans Care and Benefits

The 3,000 word articles would examine both the history of the above topics, as well as current issues surrounding the topics. Contributing scholars would receive $400 in compensation. The due date is tight: June 15, 2008.
