The Global Media Journal: Mediterranean Edition invites the submission of articles for the Fall 2008 issue. (The Spring 2008 issue is now online). The journal is keen to receive articles that critically address contemporary issues in media, communication and society from multiple perspectives and example topics include (but are not limited to):

* Democratic communication
* Children and media
* Peace journalism
* Women and Media
* Political economy
* Communication policy
* Media and Nationalisms
* Diaspora and media/communication

* Media, Citizenship and Democracy
* Communication and Cultures in Conflict
* Media and Globalization
The Editor seeks articles for both the general and graduate student sections of the Fall 2008 issue (Graduate papers are evaluated by the editors and are not submitted to the general blind review)
