WRITERS SOUGHT FOR ARTICLES ON AMERICAN SOCIAL ISSUES
James Ciment, general editor of Social Issues in America: An Encyclopedia, is seeking qualified scholars to write the following chapters for an electronic version of the book:
"Consumer Product Safety"
"Veterans Benefits and Care"
The chapters would cover both the history of the topics and current issues surrounding the topics. Both chapters focus on the United States and would be 3,000 words in length. Chapter writers would also contribute a general bibliography for further reading and several primary documents (or URLs where those documents can be found). Writers would receive $400 for each chapter, paid within 90 days of submission and acceptance. The deadline is tight and only those persons who are certain they can submit an article on or before 15 June 2008 are asked to apply. Interested parties should contact James Ciment ASAP at james.ciment@ca.rr.com
