Early Modern Social History Symposium with Keynote Speaker Dr. Lucy Worsley, Chief Curator of The Historic Royal Palaces and author of Cavalier: A Tale of Chivalry, Passion and Great Houses. In addition, guest speakers Dr. Rodreguez King-Dorset and Dr. Gavin Robinson will be presenting their work on Black Dance in London 1730-1850, Innovation, Tradition and Resistance and Social-Political Animals: Humans and Non-Humans in Early Modern Society, respectively. The symposium will begin at 1:00pm and run approximately 4 hours. It will take place at NTU Clifton Campus in Room 010 Ada Byron King Building.
