The Journal of the History of Childhood and Youth welcomes submissions of original article length manuscripts devoted to the historical experiences of children and young people without geographic or chronological limitations. We are interested in empirical studies and theoretical approaches as well as those addressing the historical context of contemporary policy issues. JHCY is a scholarly, peer-reviewed journal published for the Society for the History of Children and Youth by the John Hopkins University Press.
