The Conference is being organised by the Working Class and Trade Union Studies Association of Nigeria. It is meant to provide an avenue to examine the the state of the Trade Union Movement in Nigeria with particular emphasis on how to tackle the challenges facing the movement.
The Conference is open to scholars, researchers and activists interested in the Nigerian Trade Union Movement.
The Conference is scheduled to hold at the Lady Bank Anthony Hall, Institute of African Studies, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria from 30-31 May 2008.
Conference fee is US$40 for those presenting papers and US$20 for others.
Deadline for submission of Abstracts is May 15 2008.
