Call for Papers for a collected edition of essays from various scholars titled "Modernism West of the Mississippi". This collection will view Modernism from the perspective of the North AMerican West and is particularly committed to examining the cultural output that resulted from the disruption caused various ethnicities as modern movement altered the western landscape, (e.g. Native Americans, Asian-Americans, Mexican-Americans, etc..) For more details, please email Carmen for a copy of the detailed sheet/Call for Papers to be sent to you. Although the deadline for the abstracts is June 30th, the selected contributors would have at least six months from the time of acceptance to complete the final essays.
