The University of Toulouse-Le Mirail and the European Studies Center Jean Monnet, along with Research Centers Framespa (Toulouse) and Georges Chevrier (Dijon), would like to introduce the Nordic historical Review/La Revue d’Histoire Nordique, a bilingual (English/French) and biannual scholarly journal that is dealing with current trends in the historical studies of the Scandinavian and Baltic world, from the Middles Ages to the Present.
The review is under the direction of an international scientific committee including French and Scandinavian professors as well, and aims at publishing, in an equal number, contributions in French and English as well (abstracts always being bilingual), in order to promote various works on the Northern countries history. Proofreading is provided for each article by two external professors.
Furthermore the Nordic Historical Review purposes to be an international meeting place for researchers, and eventually to allow them to be read by an international worldwide audience.
We also would like to inform you about the latest publication of the fourth issue of the Nordic Historical Review.
For further and more complete information please check the Nordic Historical Review Online at the following address (The journal is also available with online payment at this address, which offers also journal’s presentation, abstracts in French and English):
