For this special issue of EnterText, we invite submissions of 5000 to 8000 words on any aspect of Andrea Levy’s writing. In celebration of the 15th anniversary of Levy’s debut novel, Every Light in the House Burnin' (1994), this issue considers her contribution to contemporary writing with a special emphasis on the analysis of postcolonial contexts, themes and issues. We are particularly interested in essays that offer innovative close readings of any of her major works, including Never Far from Nowhere (1996), Fruit of the Lemon (1999) and Small Island (2004).
