This Call for Papers is for FORWARD, an Early Modern Social History Symposium, which will take place on Wednesday, 28 May 2008 from 1:00pm until 5:00pm at Nottingham Trent University. Our Keynote Speaker is Dr. Lucy Worsley, Chief Curator of the Historic Royal Palaces and author of Cavalier: A Tale of Chivalry, Passion and Great Houses. Proposals (no longer than 300 words)are invited for 20 minute papers, which explore the latest unique approaches to research in any aspect of Early Modern British or Irish Social History, including but not limited to topics of Family, Order, Reform, Women, Anarchy, Rebellion & Dissent.
