The 2009 Annual Meeting will be held January 2 - 5, 2009 in New York City based at the Hilton New York & Sheraton New York Hotels in conjunction with the AHA. Paper and panel proposals are now being accepted for the PAHA Annual Meeting.
Session organizers should collect the following information, which will be needed to submit a complete proposal:
* Session title (of no more than 20 words)
* Session abstract (up to 500 words)
* Paper or presentation titles
* Abstract or description for each presentation (up to 300 words)
* Biographical paragraph or c.v. summary (up to 250 words) for each participant
* Correct mailing and e-mail address for each participant
* Chair (required) and commentator (optional) for the session
* Audiovisual needs, if any
Proposals should be submitted to PAHA Vice President Ann Hetzel Gunkel at agunkel@colum.edu before May 10, 2008. Electronic proposals (in email & word format are strongly preferred.) Written proposals may be sent to Professor Ann Hetzel Gunkel, Dept. of Liberal Education, 600 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60605, USA. A special call for papers on New York Polonia follows.
