The Northeast Popular Culture/American Culture Association (NEPCA) is seeking paper proposals on the topic of Fashion and Body Image for its fall conference to be held at U Mass - Dartmouth, October 31/November 1, 2008.
Please send your proposal to Carol-Ann Farkas (area chair and NEPCA program chair) at carol-ann.farkas@mcphs.edu by June 15, 2008. Please include a 2-3 sentence description of yourself, your background, and your qualifications.
NEPCA presentations are generally 20-minutes in length and may be delivered either formally or informally. NEPCA prides itself on holding conferences which emphasize sharing ideas in a non-competitive and supportive environment involving graduate students, junior faculty, and senior scholars.
