In cooperation with the Amsterdam Student Corps at the University of Amsterdam, we offer a program designed to provide students with the opportunity to learn and experience the exciting transformations occurring in Europe today. The program will serve as an introductory course for students who have an interest in European politics, the European Union, and Dutch culture and society. In addition, we will consider the reasoning behind Dutch social policies as legalized prostitution and drug laws; discuss trends in Dutch immigration, multiculturalism and assimilation and then examine how these issues are reflected in policy.
The program is open to students of various disciplines but they should have at least two years of academic training in a field relevant to the course the student wishes to take.
