The graduate students of the Yale University departments of Classics, History and History of Art are pleased to announce their upcoming graduate colloquium, "Provincials and Empire", to be held at Yale University, New Haven, CT, on Friday and Saturday April 25-26, 2008.
The colloquium will feature a keynote address by Prof. Clifford Ando (University of Chicago) entitled "Law and the Landscape of Empire."
