INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM: “ Life, Work and Time Tomás Pereira S.J.(1645-1708)” – CALL FOR PAPERS
The 3-days symposium will be held at Macau Scientific and Cultural Center (CCCM) in Lisbon , October, 13-14-15, 2008. The conference theme is “Life, Work and Time Tomás Pereira S.J.”, which is almost fulfilled with the exception of two open topics:
Nerchinsk Threaty and sino-Russian Relations
The Mongols, Buddhism and the state in late imperial China.
CCCM is pleased to invite scholars to submit their proposals on the above mentioned topics. All submissions will be considered. Deadline for proposals is May 1, 2008. To propose an individual paper, please send your CV along with a one-page abstract by the deadline to Elisabetta Colla, Macau Scientific and Cultural Center, Rua da Junqueira 30, 1300-343 Lisbon (Portugal); e-mail: elisabettacolla@cccm.pt or geral@cccm.pt; Telephone: .
