Call for Papers
"Europe since 1989: Interpreting Social Change", University of Sussex, Brighton, 19-21 June, 2008.
The deadline for abstracts is 30 March. The provisional programme is
now available on the website (www.sussex.ac.uk/cspt/europe1989).
The event marks the tenth anniversary of the European Journal of Social Theory. It is hosted by the European Journal of Social Theory and the Centre for Social and Political Thought, University of Sussex, and confirmed keynote speakers will include: Johann Arnason, Klaus Eder, Heidrun Friese, William Outhwaite, Krishan Kumar, Liana Giorgi, Alana Lentin, Yasemin Soysal, Larry Ray, Chris Rumford, Goran Therborn, and Laurent Thévenot. We invite individual paper proposals (300-word abstracts). Submissions
can be sent by email (ejst@sussex.ac.uk). The deadline for abstracts is 30 March, 2008.
Notification of acceptance will be sent to presenters by 7 April. The
reduced fee for early registration is £100 (by 2 May), the full fee is
£130.
