'Expressions of the Body: Representations in African Text and Image' is a collection of academic essays by international researchers working on topics related to the representation of the human body in African literature, art, photography, theatre and film. It will be published with Peter Lang in late 2008/early 2009.
The editor is seeking one more contributor for this volume and invites proposals of 250 words from researchers working on African representations of the body. Please send proposals to: c.baker@lancaster.ac.uk by 31 March 2008.
