The conference will be held from 10th to 12th October 2008 in Rethymnon, Crete, Greece. Authors are invited to submit their Presentation proposals, Poster Presentation proposals as well as Symposium proposals.
The conference aims to address the current thinking and research on: (a) the nature of lived experience, metaphor and multimodality, (b) the relationship between lived experience, metaphor and multimodality, (c) the epistemological, methodological, literary, psychological, educational, socio-historical, cultural, ecological and dialogic dimensions of lived experience, metaphor and multimodality, (d) the potential and importance of lived experience, metaphor and multimodality in psychological processes (perceptual, cognitive, learning, developmental, communication, interpersonal and social-moral), and (e) the applications or implications of lived experience, metaphor and multimodality in education, learning, counselling, psychotherapy and information and communication technologies.
