Due to the issues with two of the contributors this call for papers has a very, very quick turn around. I would be looking for papers to be submitted to the editor before April 1st 2008 and expressions of interest in the next 10 days.

We already have papers on Kim Ki Duk (Korea), Kinji Fukasaku (Japan), Jia Zhangke (China), Naomi Kawase (Japan) and Rithy Panh (Cambodia). The journal is aimed at both academic and non-academic audience so the papers can be of a historical, general overview as well as theoretical in basis.

Ideally the papers will be already near completion but lacking a publisher in order to be delivered to editor asap.
