7 minute video of a presentation made to the Board of Governors that sketches out one possible future for the humanities. The video is being announced here not because subscribers are expected to agree with the vision that is offered for the New Humanities, but rather to provide an example of how the web can be used to make the work of the humanities visible to those who otherwise might not be inclined to see them as important and as, in fact, central to future academic and capital planning.
