We are seeking a third panelist for the 2009 AHA annual meeting. The panel will examine First/Third world encounters in the global 1968. One panelist will examine the relationship between the Black Panther Party and the Chinese Cultural Revolution; the other panelist will explore discourse of the Third World in the British counterculture media. Please email an abstract of up to 300 words and short biographical note with an indication of how your work fits with the proposal to christiansen.s@neu.edu or scarlett.z@neu.edu no later than Sunday, February 10.
