On February 23 from 8am to 8pm, there will be a celebration of Dr. Susan L. Flader's contributions to the study of Missouri's environmental and cultural history. Four panels discussing Flader's influence on environmental and cultural history, as well as her roles as citizen activist and teacher, will be featured. Dr. David Thelen, Professor Emeritus of Indiana University, will be the luncheon speaker, while Dr. Donald Worster, the Joyce and Elizabeth Hall professor of U.S. History and Environmental Studies, will be the banquet speaker.
Participants include, for example, Jonathan Sperber, Dick Bartlett, Philip Scarpino, Walter Schroeder, Robert Faust, Amahia Mallea, and Diana Ahmad.
