Norfolk State University invites you to present at a literary conference featuring Dr. Quince Duncan of San José, Costa Rica, as the keynote speaker, on April 1-3 2008. All topics related to the history, language, or literature of the oral traditions in Central America, the Caribbean, México, or South America are encouraged. (Costa Rica is not an option.) Abstracts may be submitted no later than Friday, February 22, 2008. Abstracts should not exceed 250 words. Each presenting author will be notified by Tuesday, March 4 whether the abstract has been accepted. Although no fees are required for participation in this conference, the presenting author of an accepted abstract is requested to register for the conference by no later than Tuesday, March 18, 2008.
