Dear H. Environmentalists:
This is the fourth occasion in which the Central American community of historians sends out a call for papers related with environmental issues of the region from a historical perspective. However, this is the first time that a particular space will be devoted to Environmental History, shared in the past with Scientific and Technological History.
1)PAPERS: Should be submitted by April 1, 2008.
2)ABSTRACTS: Should have a maximum of 500 words.
3)FINAL VERSION: Should not exceed a total of 30 pages or 9000 words, including graphs, charts, notes, bibliography, maps, illustrations, and annexes.
4)DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS: February 15, 2008.
5)PRELIMINARY APPROVAL OF PAPERS: MARCH 31, 2008.
6)DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF FINAL VERSIONS: APRIL 1, 2008.
7)FINAL APPROVAL OF PAPERS: MAY 1, 2008.
8)PRESENTATION OF PAPERS: Should not exceed 20 minutes in duration.
Each speaker shall deliver a minimum of ten copies of his/her paper among the attendants to the conference.
