This inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary conference seeks to explore issues surrounding racial profiling at borders, with a focus on the social, psychological, legal and economic impact of racial profiling at borders. Perspectives are sought from those engaged in any field that touches on the study of law, anthropology, psychology, sociology, criminology, cultural studies, government/politics, history, literature, philosophy, psychology and religion/theology, as well as those working in civil rights, human rights, and other areas.

Papers will be considered on any related theme. 100 word abstracts, that may be in Word, PDF or RTF formats, must arrive no later than Friday March 14th 2008. Electronic submissions or correspondence are accepted and highly encouraged. We will acknowledge receipt of every submission. If an abstract is accepted for the conference, a full draft paper should be submitted by Friday 18th April 2008.

The conference will be held in Kwantlen University College, Surrey Campus on April 25 2008.
