For its Fall 2008 issue, Proteus: A Journal of Ideas seeks essays and scholarly articles that examine sports, exercise, and/or recreation from a wide range of disciplines including (but not limited to) the sciences, sociology, literature, business, gender studies, psychology, political science, philosophy, cultural studies, and history. For example, an essay might examine the psychology or physiology of sport performance or the economic and social issues relating to exercise or recreation.
