Submissions are invited for a book on the 21st century Nigerian Novel. The editor is interested in papers on works of any of the following new Nigerian novelists: Odili Ujubuonu, Kaine Agary, Jude Dibia, El-Nukoya and Maryam Ali and other Nigerian novelists residing in Nigeria.

Submissions for subsequent volumes is sought on Tanure Ojaide, Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche, Sefi Attah ,Uzodinma Iweala, Helon Habila, Chris Abani , Biyi Bandele-Thomas, Akachi Adimora- Ezeigbo amongst others

Papers on individual authors and comparative approaches welcome.

Send abstracts of 500 words or less (for proposed 6,000- 8,000-word chapters) with a brief professional C.V., by 8th March 2008, via email to

Selected abstracts will be notified within a month and invited to send in full papers.

Full papers are expected by the 15th June, 2008.
