Submissions are invited for a book series on the Nigerian Novel. The editor of this volumes is interested in papers on the works of any one of the following five new Nigerian novelists: Odili Ujubuonu, Kaine Agary, Jude Dibia, El-Nukoya and Maryam Ali and other Nigerian novelists residing in Nigeria and published from 2000 for volume one .
Other authors works for whom submissions is sought for subsequent volumes are Tanure Ojaide, Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche, Sefi Attah ,Uzodinma Iweala, Helon Habila, Chris Abani , Biyi Bandele-Thomas, Akachi Adimora- Ezeigbo and others who have published novels from 2000- date
Papers on individual authors are welcome. However, submissions with a comparative approach are particularly encouraged.
Interested contributors should please send abstracts of 500 words or less (for proposed 6,000- 8,000-word chapters) with a brief professional C.V., by 8th March 2008, via email to
Writers of selected abstracts will then be notified within a month from the last date for submission by the publication director and invited to send in their full papers with detailed instructions.
Full papers are expected by the 15th June, 2008.
