CFP: Past Imperfect - Graduate Students' History Journal

Past Imperfect is the journal of the History & Classics Graduate Students' Association at the University of Alberta. Given that 2008 will be the centennial of the University of Alberta's founding, for this upcoming volume, articles dealing with historical commemoration or other topics related to units of time will be especially appreciated. Also, studies of Western Canadian history or the history of the University of Alberta will be particularly welcome.

Manuscripts should be 15 to 30 pages in length, double-spaced with endnotes or footnotes. A brief 100 word abstract and one page C.V. should also accompany the submissions. Book reviews on publications from 2003 to the present are also welcomed. Style should conform to the latest edition of either the Chicago Manual of Style or Kate Turabian's A Manual for Writers of Term Papers, Theses, and Dissertations.
