For an upcoming special issue, the multidisciplinary online journal “gender forum” (http://www.genderforum.uni-koeln.de) invites contributions discussing Jewish culture from a gender perspective. Proposed topics include but are not limited to culturally specific discourses of gender and sexuality, questions of media representation and visibility, the representation of Jewish women in popular culture, the gendering of Anti-Semitism as well as gender perspectives on Diaspora existences.
Completed manuscripts should be submitted via email to email@example.com by April 30, 2008. Articles should conform to the “gender forum” style sheet (available for download at http://www.genderforum.uni-koeln.de/stylesheet.pdf) and should not exceed 8,000 words in length. Please include a bio-blurb of 5 to 10 lines and an abstract of 10 to 15 lines. Use endnotes and fully documented references at the end of the article.
