The University Carlos III ( Madrid, Spain) is organizing an International Congress (may 6th-9th, 2008) centered on Fantastic and Science Fiction (S/F) Literature and related areas of studies. Post-graduated students from differente areas of study (such as: Hummanities, Literature, Socioligy, Art History, Philosophy) could apply.
Papers could be centered in the following themes and subjetcts:
-S/F and Fantastic Literature in Latin American and Spanish Literature.
-Politico-social ideology in fantastic and S/F Literature.
-Feminism, Fantastic and S/F Literature.
-Semiotics of the fantastic and S/F literature.
-S/F and the fantastic in theater.
-S/F and the fantastic in cinema.
-S/F and the fantastic in ciberculture.
Languages: Spanish, French and English.
The deadline is February 15, 2008.
