The Communal Studies Association will hold its annual conference at The Koresham State Historic Site in Estero, Florida on October 2-4, 2008.

The Communal Studies Assocation (CSA) is an interdisciplinary professional organization for people living in intentional communities, historic site personnel, and academics representing many disciplines, including history, anthropology, religious studies, sociology, literature, political science, and others. Each year the CSA's annual conference is held at the site of an historic intentional community. The Koreshan State Historic Site was home to The Koreshan Unity, a communal society, and its founder Cyrus R. Teed. See www.communalstudies.org/
