Would anyone be interested in a panel for the Social Science 2008 meeting (Oct 23-26, 2008, in Miami)? I would like to present a paper on the early Turkish immigrants in the United States (1900-1930) and assimilation problems.

This paper is part of a larger dissertation on the early Turkish immigrants in US and the North Shore (Massachusetts) leather workers. I welcome any and all suggestions for a panel that could focus on any immigrant group, new/old, in the United States, assimilation, integration matters, Muslim communities in US, politics,or other topics.If you are interested please contact me off-list. The proposal must be submitted online by February 1, 2008.

If you already have any other panel proposal, I can also participate into your panel.
