The Fifth Annual Lincoln Institute for Teachers, hosted by Historic Southern Indiana in cooperation with Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial, will be held on the campus of the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville June 19-20, 2008. The theme is "The House Dividing: Lincoln and the Emergence of Modern Politics." Elementary and secondary teachers are encouraged to attend, though anyone interested in the national crisis of 1858 may register.
