The deadline for submissions to the Alfred Hitchcock area at the SW-TX PCA/ACA Conference has been extended to December 15, 2007.

Panels are now forming for presentations on the films and career of Alfred Hitchcock. Please consider some of the following topics:

1. Hitchcock and Film Theory
2. Hitchcock and Music
3. Hitchcock and Performance
4. Hitchcock and History
5. Hitchcock and Gender
6. Hitchcock and Zizek
7. Hitchcock and Television
8. Teaching Hitchcock
9. Hitchcock's Influence

This list of topics suggests a few possible ways to consider Hitchcock's work but is not final. Other approaches to the "master of suspense" are welcome.

Please send your abstract (250 words) to jason.landrum@selu.edu. The deadline for submission is December 15, 2007.
