Are you a teacher who has created an innovative, comprehensive, or timely curriculum on some aspect of Illinois’ history, culture, politics, geography, literature, or archaeology? Why not share your expertise with other teachers at the Conference on Illinois History? Several teacher workshops are offered during the conference, which attracts professional and avocational historians, graduate students, and those engaged in the study of Illinois history at libraries, historic sites, museums, and historical societies. The conference is accredited by the ISBE for CPDUs. Proposals for workshops are being accepted until March 10, 2008. Each proposal should include a summary of the topic and a one-page resume of the organizer.
